Four Corners Air Quality Forum

Overview

The Four Corners Air Quality Forum was organized to increase regional air quality understanding and communication. The Forum was initiated in 2008 by a grant from U.S. EPA Region 8 and cooperative funding from San Juan Public Lands (USFS/BLM). Individual community members and representatives of local government, agencies, industry, and watershed / community groups gathered and collaborated for the Forum. MSI initiated this event to reach the following goals:

1) translate air quality science and policy in a friendly manner to non-experts, 2) facilitate informed discussions and decision-making, and 3) bring together diverse stakeholders in a problem-solving format.
