Animas River Corridor Revitalization Project

The Animas River Corridor Revitalization Project (ARCRP) is a collaborative and highly participatory rural community partnership project formed to improve environmental and recreational resources along a 2-mile section of the Animas River in the Town of Silverton, Colorado.

By restoring environmental damage and creating an accessible recreational opportunity, the ARCRP will provide critical economic development and enhance livelihoods in this rural community. The goals of this project are to complete the two mile section of trail within the ARCRP, including wetland protection and restoration, interpretive signage, and art installations.
